Wyong Neighbourhood Centre will be hosting an International Women's Day Breakfast at the Royal Hotel, Wyong.
Our guest speaker, Marney McQueen, is one of Australia’s most versatile performers, starring on stage, film and television.

Share The Dignity and Because We Care:
A partnership empowering and supporting women
We know from our female clients with lived experience of homelessness, financial crisis, domestic violence, entrenched disadvantage, or a combination of, that they experience additional issues associated with “that time of the month.”
Limited access to resources means that many women have to choose between food and sanitary items, and in some cases, some feel that stealing them is their only option.
This issue is largely ignored because society generally continues to find discussing this issue ‘distasteful’. For the women that experience the issue the additional complications can affect well-being and quality of life.
For young girls, it can mean the difference between attending school, or skipping another week.
